I am working as a Research Assistant, in the Proteomics Group of TTCRC, Tata Medical Center from March 2020. Here my research work mostly focuses on the applications of Mass Spectrometry in proteomics research of our ongoing projects. I pursued master’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Chang Gung University, Taiwan. During my masters I got the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant in my thesis project entitled “The Role of G-protein Coupled Receptor 56 in the cellular functions of melanoma cells”. After completion of M.Sc. I worked as a Research Scholar for six months at the department of Cancer biology and Drug delivery, Taipei Medical University in collaboration with Academia Sinica where I gathered experience involved in understanding the crosstalk between D2 and nicotine receptors in smoking induced breast cancer. I further wanted to expand my experience in Nano biotechnology in Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur joined as a Project JRF at DST funded project for about 2.5 years. While in IIT, my research involved in nanofiber fabricated mats for microbial growth and detection of biomarkers using carbonised/non carbonised fibers/films decorated with nano particles.
