2. Research experience and Interest
My scientific voyage began as a research scholar atChittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata, where I worked on Anticancer Drug Development for my doctoral degree. My domain of research involved an integrated approach that encompassed several techniquesrelated to synthetic chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology and cell biology. Later I got my foot into the door of translational research at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, where I got the opportunity to train myself and render core support in several ovarian and cervical cancer translational research projects particularly in Biobank Operations, Data Management and in handling ethical documents.
My current position as a Laboratory Manager gives me immense opportunity to utilizemy interdisciplinary research experiencein supporting and strengthening translational research and development. My aim is to focus, reinforce and energize various components related to cancer research and drive the researchers reach their goals.
